Pre-requesites: you'll need a paid Neocities account to mount it via WebDAV.[1]

There's a bug or glitch where, if you use the Neocities.org built-in editor and save, there's a small chance that your site and account will be deleted and your email will be blocklisted[2]. You can contact support to restore everything, but it's still alarming and upsetting.

There are various ways to edit your site, but one of the easiest might be to use WebDAV.
