No account is needed to read pages on this wiki. If you would like to create an account to contribute to FandomResources, a username with be collected. This username will be visible in the page history when you make edits, along with a timestamp. When you create an account, you may also (optionally) include an email address (advisable in the event that you forget your password) and (optionally) include a "Real Name" if you wish, for attribution. You'll also be asked to fill out a simple text CAPTCHA (more info). You'll also see the CAPTCHA if you're submitting edits that include external links.

If you have "Enable e-mail from other users" checked in your Preferences, other users can send you a message by clicking on "email me" on your User Page (if you've created it and added the User Profile template), or by using the email user page. The email sender will only see your account email if you reply. If you send an email to another user this way, they will see your account email in the reply-to field.

If you have created your User Page and added the User Profile template, there will also be a link to you contributions to this wiki. Even if you haven't created a User Page, these contributions can be found with the User Contributions page. Even though the page says that you can search for contributions by IP address or username, FandomResources does not collect the IP addresses of editors. This is why an account is required to edit or create pages.

Do not include private information in your contributions to pages or discussion pages, or in the notes when you submit edits. Do not submit the personal information of others.
